Unidentified car knocks girl unconscious in Hyderabad; victim out of danger

Sumayah, a 19-year-old girl, was knocked down unconscious after an unidentified car hit her and fled the scene in Hyderabad’s Rajendra Nagar. The victim is reportedly out of danger and the accused is yet to be identified, said the investigating officer.
A 19-year-old girl was hit by an unidentified car at Akber hills in Hyderabad’s Rajendra Nagar on Wednesday, July 6. The accident knocked her unconscious and resulted in a head injury as well. The driver fled the scene after the incident and is yet to be identified.
CCTV cameras in the area captured the entire incident. The victim has been identified as Sumayah Begum, who lived in the area and was returning home from her designing class.
According to the investigation officer, Kranthi of Rajendra Nagar police station, “Yesterday at around 1.30 pm, Sumayah Begum, aged 19 years, was returning from her designing class. When she was close to her residence in Akbar hills, Rajendra Nagar, an unidentified car hit Sumayah, causing a head injury.”
The officer further said, “The victim is out of danger. A case has been registered. The accused is yet to be identified and an investigation is underway.”
