"Unacceptable": India Slams Islamic Nations' Group For J&K Remarks

The foreign ministry said the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation has no locus standi in matters relating to the UT of Jammu and Kashmir, which is an integral part of India.

India on Thursday slammed the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) over its references to Jammu and Kashmir and said that the body has no locus standi in matters related to the Union Territory, which is an integral part of the country. OIC has no locus standi in matters relating to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, which is an integral part of India," Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement. India also advised OIC General Secretariat not to exploit its platform for comments on internal affairs of the country.
