Unable to score good marks in NEET exam, 18-year-old boy kills self in Tamil Nadu’s Hosur

Murali Krishna, an 18-year-old boy from Tamil Nadu’s Hosur, killed himself on Wednesday. A suicide note recovered from his room claimed that he took the extreme step as he was finding the NEET entrance too hard and that he was unable to score the marks.
An 18-year-old boy, identified as Murali Krishna, killed himself on Wednesday, July 6. A suicide note found in his room stated that he took the extreme step since he was finding the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) entrance too hard and was unable to score marks.
He finished schooling last year and attempted NEET as well. However, he scored only 160.
Murali Krishna was preparing for the NEET entrance exam this year as well. However, he was found hanging in his room on Wednesday. Shocked relatives informed police officials that they found a suicide note while searching the room.
“I’m finding the NEET exam very difficult. I can’t score the marks. Forgive me, I’ve tried my best. But I couldn’t get the marks requested to get a medical seat. Please forgive me for making this decision. I’ll miss you very much ma,” read the suicide note.
Hosur Sipcot Police recovered Murali Krishna’s body and have sent it for autopsy. Further investigations are underway.
