Doha, Qatar: United Martial Arts Academy International (UMAI), a globally recognized institution with a legacy spanning four decades, has announced the launch of its 40th anniversary celebrations in Doha. The announcement was made at a press conference held at Notebook Restaurant by key office bearers of the organization.

The festivities will kick off with a blood donation camp organized in collaboration with Hamad Medical Corporation on Friday, May 30 at 2pm.

Running through to the first week of December 2025, the anniversary program will feature a wide range of events catering to both the general public and children. Highlights include karate, kalari, and kung fu championships, along with badminton tournaments, tug-of-war, chess, arm wrestling, school-level arts and sports competitions, and art and cultural gatherings. Additionally, drug awareness sessions and health seminars will be held as part of the initiative.

Founded in 1985 in Palazhi, Kozhikode, Kerala, India by Grand Master Dr. Arif CP, UMAI has grown into a respected institution in the field of martial arts. Since 1999, the academy has been actively operating in Doha under the leadership of Technical Director Shihan Naushad K. Mannoli.

UMAI’s international presence spans several countries, including the UAE, Oman, and Kuwait, providing physical training to individuals from over 42 countries. The academy is also known for its commitment to charitable and community-focused activities, which form a core part of its mission.
