Uma Thurman joins the cast of Disney's Stargirl sequel

Uma Thurman has been roped in for the sequel of Disney’s young adult romantic drama Stargirl. The actress will play the role of a musician in the Julia Hart directorial venture.

Uma Thurman has joined the cast of Stargirl sequel. The young adult romantic drama is based on the bestselling book of the same name by Jerry Spinelli. Directed by Julia hart, the movie turned out to be a hit on Disney+ Hotstar Premium in March 2020. Uma Thurman is all set to play a musician in the upcoming film. The story follows Leo, played by Graham Verchere. Leo is a boy from Mica, Arizona, who wishes nothing more than an anonymous existence. However, his life is turned upside down when he meets and falls for an unusual and vibrant girl named Stargirl, essayed by Grace VanderWaal.
