Ultraviolette is redefining urban mobility with its latest electric vehicles, Tesseract and Shockwave. Tesseract, is one of the most advanced electric scooters ever unveiled, redefining the standards in safety, performance, and innovation. Ultraviolette’s CEO and co-founder, Narayan Subramaniam, confidently calls it the best scooter in the world—a claim reinforced by the scooter’s cutting-edge features.
Equipped with an integrated radar and dashcam, Tesseract offers intelligent rider-assist functions, including blindspot detection, lane-change assistance, overtaking assist, and real-time collision alerts. It’s omnisense mirrors featuring multi-colour LED displays enhance rider awareness, significantly improving road safety. The scooter has also incorporatedtraction control, dynamic regeneration, and a 7-inch touchscreen TFT display that serves as the command centre for its connected features.
Designed for long-distance communitng, Tesseract’s advanced battery system provides a range of up to 261 km on a single charge. With a peak power output of 20 bhp, it rides on 14-inch wheels, making it well-suited for navigating challenging road conditions. The braking system includes dual hydraulic discs, dual-channel ABS, and dynamic stability control to ensure safety across various terrains. Its aviation-based motor technology further enhances efficiency and durability.
Priced at ₹ 1.45 lakh, Tesseract will be available at a special introductory price of ₹ 1.20 lakh for the first 10,000 customers. Bookings are now open, and deliveries set to begin in January 2026.
Alongside the Tesseract, Ultraviolette has unveiled Shockwave, a lightweight electric motorcycle that combines the thrill of classic two-stroke motorcycling with the advantages of electric power. Engineered for riders who seek agility and exhilarating performance, it features a high-performance motor that enables rapid acceleration and a top speed of 120 km/h.
Weighing just 120 kilograms, Shockwave stands out in the e-enduro motorcycle category for its exceptional lightweight design, making it highly manoeuvrable and perfect for both urban commutes and off-road adventures. The bike is equipped with dynamic regeneration technology, an intelligent traction control system, and a connected TFT display that provides real-time ride analytics and navigation support.
