U.S. forces intercepted and boarded the vessel Veronica III for defying Trump's quarantine, showcasing maritime enforcement capabilities.
The U.S. Department of Defence conducted a maritime interdiction and boarding of the vessel Veronica III, which tried to defy President Donald Trump’s quarantine, the department said on Sunday (February 15, 2026).
“Overnight, U.S. forces conducted a right-of-visit, maritime interdiction and boarding of the Veronica III without incident in the INDOPACOM area of responsibility,” it said in a post on X.
