Two die of Covid-19 as Qatar reports 489 cases on March 17

Doha: Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) today reported 489 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) and 288 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of people recovered in Qatar to 159,141.
Out of 489 new cases, 417 are community cases and 72 from travellers returning from abroad. Two people, 50 and 59-year-old, succumbed to the virus taking the total death toll in Qatar due to Covid-19 to 270.
