Turkey reports its highest daily COVID cases, deaths

More than 62,000 cases reported on Wednesday, taking the country’s tally past four million since start of pandemic.

Turkey has recorded 62,797 new coronavirus cases and 279 deaths in the last 24 hours, its highest daily figures since the start of the pandemic. With Wednesday’s numbers, the total number of cases recorded in Turkey has surpassed four million. The total death toll has risen to 34,737.
