An attorney for former President Donald Trump said Thursday he will seek to move Trump's criminal case from a state court in Manhattan to federal court.
The attorney, Todd Blanche, told New York Judge Juan Merchan that "the defense anticipates later today seeking removal of this case to federal court." He did not specify the reasoning behind the request.
