Trump says he'll sue Zuckerberg and Dorsey. It's a familiar threat
CNN
Former President Donald Trump on Wednesday announced plans to file a class-action lawsuit targeting Facebook and its CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Twitter and its CEO Jack Dorsey and Google and its CEO Sundar Pichai in a Hail Mary move after being removed from their platforms. But if he does actually file the suits, they're likely doomed from the start.
The announcement about the lawsuits comes after the two social media companies removed Trump's access to their platforms in the aftermath of the January 6 riot on Capitol Hill. Twitter (TWTR) banned Trump altogether, and he is currently suspended from Facebook for at least two years. Copies of the complaints were not immediately available, and Trump has a history of threatening litigation as an intimidation tactic without actually following through on suits.A provocative new work from the artist behind that duct-taped banana tackles gun violence in America
