Former President Donald Trump has paid his $110,000 fine for being held in contempt of court by a New York judge, according to a spokesperson from the New York attorney general's office.
Trump had until Friday to purge the contempt order issued by Judge Arthur Engoron on April 25, and paid the fine Thursday.
Engoron said he wanted sworn statements describing the Trump Organization's document retention and destruction policy, as well as a review of five boxes tied to Trump that were located in an off-site storage facility. According to the AG's office, all responsive documents have now been produced.

The two men killed as they floated holding onto their capsized boat in a secondary strike against a suspected drug vessel in early September did not appear to have radio or other communications devices, the top military official overseeing the strike told lawmakers on Thursday, according to two sources with direct knowledge of his congressional briefings.
