Trump FCC pick says bringing 'censorship cartel' to heel will be a 'top' priority: 'It's got to end'
Fox News
Trump FCC chair pick Brendan Carr spoke on the issue of Big Tech censorship on "Sunday Morning Futures," saying tackling the issue will be a top priority under his leadership.
"Combating tech censorship is going to be one of the top priorities for me. We need to restore Americans' right to free speech," he told "Sunday Morning Futures" guest host Jackie DeAngelis. Taylor Penley is an associate editor with Fox News.
"You mentioned Facebook and other companies. They've been part of a censorship cartel that have worked with advertisers. They've worked with government officials to censor the free speech rights of everyday Americans, and that's got to end because censorship isn't just about stopping work. It's about stopping ideas."
