Trucks moved across the disputed state border from Assam into Mizoram on Sunday, almost two weeks after the bloody border clash between the police forces of the two states. The railway line, which was damaged at that time, will also be restored soon.

After assurances of police escorts given on Saturday, truckers in ones and twos started moving out of Dholai near the tense border, where they had parked their trucks, ever since violence broke out.More Related News
