Tropical Storm Henri could impact the Northeastern US this weekend

Some forecast computer models now show Tropical Storm Henri making landfall in the Northeast. But not all of the models agree, and the official forecast track of Tropical Storm Henri remains offshore. Still, the cone of uncertainty includes parts of New England where, even if Henri doesn't make landfall, it could bring flooding and tropical storm-force winds to the region by the weekend.
"Swells from the storm could reach much of the east coast of the US and Atlantic Canada by the end of the week and continue through the weekend. These swells could cause life-threatening surf and rip currents," said Dennis Feltgen, public affairs officer at the National Hurricane Center (NHC).More Related News
