Tropical depression in Atlantic on verge of being named Victor

Tropical activity remains active off the west coast of Africa, but there is one distinct area of thunderstorms indicating strong signals of development. If it continues to form it will be named Victor, the second to last name of the 2021 Atlantic Hurricane season before a new list is introduced.

The National Hurricane Center initiated advisories Wednesday morning on the latest tropical depression to form, maintaining the momentum of our super-charged tropical season.
