Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s first look as Nandini in Ponniyin Selvan was a treat to the eyes. On July 7, Trisha’s look from the Mani Ratnam film was unveiled. The actress, who plays Princess Kundavai in Ponniyin Selvan, exuded royalty in the first look unveiled on Thursday. Seen yet?
Trisha is playing the role of Kundavai, Princess of the Chola dynasty in Ponniyin Selvan. She is the daughter of Sundara Chozhar and sisters of Aditya Karikalan (Chiyaan Vikram) and Arulmozhi Varman (Jayam Ravi). The film, which is being directed by Mani Ratnam, is one of the most-awaited projects of the year.
On July 7, the makers of Ponniyin Selvan dropped Trisha’s first look from the film. Lyca Productions Twitter handle wrote, “In a world of men, a woman of courage. Ponniyin Selvan has been director Mani Ratnam's dream project for over a decade. He tried to make the film several times, but his plans never materialised due to budget and casting constraints. Now, he has achieved his dream as Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1 is all set for release on September 30.
