Trinamool's Abhishek Banerjee, Wife Summoned In Money Laundering Case

Trinamool MP Abhishek Banerjee, his wife Rujira Banerjee have been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate on September 1 in an alleged money laundering case. Taking note of the CBI's FIR, the ED had initiated money laundering probe into alleged theft in the government coalfields, carried out in connivance with public servants, in West Bengal. Days ahead of the assembly polls in the state, the CBI had questioned the Trinamool leader's wife in the same case.
