Travis Rudolph cut by Winnipeg Blue Bombers after murder charge
NY Post
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League released former Giants wide receiver Travis Rudolph on Wednesday after he was arrested on several charges, including first-degree murder, following a Florida shooting.
Rudolph, 25, signed with the Blue Bombers in December 2019 but never played for them as the 2020 CFL season was canceled because of COVID-19. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday that Rudolph was arrested after a double shooting in Lake Park that left one man dead and sent another to a hospital. Rudolph is also being charged with shooting at two other people who were not injured.
Cade Cunningham, almost inarguably the best player in the East this season, is likely out for the remainder of the regular season. That’s the word out of Detroit following the depressing news that Cunningham punctured a lung when he took a knee to his side Tuesday from Washington’s Tre Johnson while chasing a loose ball.

Wednesday was another positive day at Yankees camp. For the first time since March 6, 2025 — an outing in which he knew “something wasn’t right,” which began a weeks-long saga that ended on the operating table for Tommy John surgery — Gerrit Cole was back on a mound and facing hitters in game action.
