
TPCC chief promises to resolve issues in employment guarantee scheme

TPCC chief B. Mahesh Kumar Goud vows to address employment guarantee scheme issues and improve welfare initiatives in Telangana.
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president and MLC, B. Mahesh Kumar Goud, has assured the people that issues related to the employment guarantee scheme would be addressed at the earliest.
During a visit to Mirzapur village in Pudur mandal along with and Pargi MLA, T Ram Mohan Reddy, he had interacted with employment guarantee workers and reviewed ongoing welfare and development activities.
Saying that Congress is a poor man’s government, he recalled that it was the Congress that initiated the pension system in the country and laid the foundation for various social welfare schemes. He further noted that the 100-day employment guarantee scheme was launched with the objective of ensuring livelihood security for poor families.
Later in the day, the TPCC chief inspected the construction of Indiramma houses in Mirzapur village. He interacted with officials and beneficiaries to understand the progress of the works. He instructed officials to ensure that the houses are completed with both speed and quality.
