The release dates for "Top Gun: Maverick" and "Mission: Impossible 7" starring Tom Cruise have been postponed, Paramount announced Friday.
"Top Gun: Maverick" was pushed to a Nov. 19 release date from its previous date of July 2. That movie's new date takes the spot of the release for "Mission: Impossible 7," another action-packed film starring Cruise. "Mission: Impossible 7" has now been pushed to May 27, 2022, Variety reports. "Mission: Impossible 8" also now jumps to July 7, 2023, from its previous Nov. 4, 2022 date.
