Indian wrestler Ravi Dahiya (57kg) has clinched silver medal in Olympics after losing 4-7 in final to Russian Olympic Committee's Zavur Uguev. Despite starting off cautiously Uguev got off to the mark and doubled his lead within seconds.Ravi might have equalled the scoreboard at 2-2 but Uguev showing off his immense power again took the lead as the Indian wrestler trailed 4-2 after the conclusion of the first period. Asian Games champion Avinash Sable opened his season in the 3000m steeple chase with a silver in the Portland Track Festival, a World Athletics Continental Tour bronze event, in Oregon on Saturday. He clocked 8:21.85s. Asian champion Parul Chaudhary took the bronze in the women’s 3000m steeple chase in a season-best 9:31.38s.
