Time to sound the alarm on Knicks’ growing problem with NBA’s Big 3

There have been times this year that the Knicks have grown a little salty when asked about their performances against the NBA elite teams; they always want to remind you that the 37 games they have won count in the standings every bit as much as the 20 they’ve lost.

And that the seven they’ve now dropped in the seven games against the Thunder, Cavaliers and Celtics don’t count for extra.

Except it’s starting to become clear, after a lost weekend through Cleveland and Boston, that even they are getting weary of getting their doors blown off whenever one of the Big Three lines up against them, the latest a 118-105 thrashing on Sunday at the hands of the Celtics at Boston’s TD Garden.

“We can do it, but we have to do it for four quarters,” said Jalen Brunson, before quickly adding: “I can keep saying all this s- -t, but it doesn’t matter. We’ve got to go out and do it for four quarters.”
