Shahnawaz Shaikh -- better known as the "oxygen man" -- runs an NGO providing free oxygen to Covid-19 patients in Mumbai as India battles a devastating second wave of the virus. He even sold his car to raise funds.
Covid-positive and suffering abnormally low oxygen levels in her blood, the 37-year-old was turned away from every hospital she visited, due to a lack of beds and oxygen supplies. Her husband's cousin, Mehmood Khan, turned to the internet for help. That's where he found Shahnawaz Shaikh -- known as "the oxygen man."
