Thief armed with boxcutter robs 3 Queens grocery stores: cops

A thief armed with a boxcutter robbed three Queens grocery stores this month — with one of his stick-ups caught on surveillance video released early Thursday.
Most recently, the man went behind the counter of a store on Astoria Boulevard near Humphreys street in East Elmhurst around 9:15 p.m. Monday and displayed a box cutter as he attempted to open the register, according to cops and the video clip. The 25-year-old woman behind the counter attempted to stop him, and the suspect pushed her back, the clip shows.More Related News
