Netflix has added a disclaimer to its marketing for the upcoming season of its hit show "The Crown," labeling the show a "fictional dramatization inspired by real-life events."
The streaming giant also claimed that the show "has always been presented as a drama based on historical events," according to BBC News. Will Mendelson is an entertainment editor for Fox News Digital.
Earlier this week, Dame Judi Dench called for a disclaimer to be included at the beginning of each episode to let viewers know that the series is not entirely factual.
