Shweta Bachchan wrote a heart-warming note for her children

Shweta Bachchan is one proud mom and she has every reason to be. Her elder daughter Navya Naveli Nanda is making strides in the entrepreneurial world while her son Agastya Nanda is all set to make his acting debut with Zoya Akhtar's The Archies. Hours after the poster of Agastya's debut project was released, mom Shweta Bachchan shared a very special post of her own. The author-fashion designer shared a throwback image of her two children. In the caption, she wrote, “I opened a drawer today, ostensibly to clean it and all my memories spilled out. Who would have thought way back then that this little boy with a cheeky grin would have his first movie poster out today? And his sister, barely even 13 in the picture, would turn out to be such a force!?”

Speaking about parenthood, Shweta Bachchan continued, “When your children grow up and you start slowly moving to the sidelines as they forge their own path it feels like you've taken your whole heart and left it out of your body unprotected, how frightening but there is no way around it. I guess this is what life is all about; letting go.”

In response, Shweta Bachchan's brother, actor Abhishek Bachchan replied with heart emojis, as did filmmaker Karan Johar and Maheep Kapoor. Actress Sonali Bendre also replied to the post writing, “Love these two. Just taking off wishing them the best always and a big hug to you.” Farah Khan wrote, “Love to both your good kids [heart emoji].” Ananya Panday wrote, “Best [heart emoji].” Designer Vikram Phadnis wrote, “They're just good kids with dreams of their own. All grown up and ready to fly. What a special day today is. Archie and Tinkle.” Navya Nanda also reacted to the post with a heart emoji.
