The Ashes: England on Sunday named their best available squad, with all-rounders Ben Stokes and Sam Curran missing out, although paceman Stuart Broad was included despite a calf injury.

England may have been limited in their choices while selecting a squad for the Ashes due to the unavailability of several first team regulars, but Australia also have their own problems to deal with, former captain Michael Atherton has said.
