Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh's Thank God released on October 25, a day after Diwali. Now, as per the latest box office development, the film has hit a “rough patch”. Film analyst Taran Adarsh, in a tweet, said that the fantasy comedy-drama has taken a dip at the box office on the second day of its release. Thank God earned about Rs 8.10 crores on the first day. Thereafter, the number came down to Rs 6 crores on the second day. The film clashed with Ram Setu featuring Akshay Kumar. The post shared by Taran Adarsh read, “Thank God hits a rough patch on Day 2… The business remains weak, despite the ongoing holiday period…Simply put, the 2-day total is underwhelming… The business on Thursday and Friday [working days] need to stay on similar levels… Tuesday 8.10 cr, Wednesday 6 cr.
