Texas congressmen from both parties urge Biden, Harris visit southern border
Fox News
Senator John Cornyn, R-Texas, alongside Reps. Tony Gonzales, R-Texas, and Henry Cuellar, D-Texas, penned an opinion piece in the Dallas Morning News on Tuesday, noting the over doubled numbers of border apprehensions between 2019 and 2014, when Biden was vice president.
The lawmakers pointed out that the U.S. is on track to receive "the highest number of total yearly border crossings in two decades" after nearly 930,000 migrants including "almost 80,000 unaccompanied children" have illegally crossed over into America in the past 8 months. "The momentum for this crisis has been building for months, but no significant action has been taken to address it." the lawmakers wrote. "The president and vice president have yet to even visit the border."More Related News
