A woman was arrested for setting fire to a dumpster behind Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton's office this week. Paxton criticized media coverage of the fire.
In a tweet, Paxton's office said the unidentified woman was seen Wednesday discarding what appeared to be a lit cigarette into a dumpster behind the building in Austin. Louis Casiano is a reporter for Fox News Digital. Story tips can be sent to louis.casiano@fox.com.
The Texas Department of Public Safety questioned the woman and determined the fire was unintentional, Paxton said. She was charged with criminal mischief equal to or greater than $25,000 but less than $30,000.
