The Biden administration's handling of the southern border is putting Texans at risk, Attorney General Ken Paxton told "The Faulkner Focus" on Friday.
... "It is so sad because we’ve seen this happen before and saw this happen under Obama, we saw it happening at the beginning of the Trump Administration. We got it cut back. We saw what the consequences were, we saw the consequences to those that were coming, the negative consequences to these children and we saw the negative consequences to our state and to our country and, yet, for some reason, we want to repeat that. I have no good explanation for why he is doing it. It certainly isn’t good for our country and it isn’t for the kids who are coming across the border. "It is so sad because we’ve been dealing with this COVID issue for almost a year now and we put all these restrictions on Americans’ businesses and travel and it’s affected our lives in so many negative ways, and yet for some reason we’ve opened up the border and risked our population along the border, but really as they spread through my state and across the country, we put people’s health at risk and putting us at increased risk for a spike in COVID and it doesn’t make any sense.More Related News
