Police said the mother of a teen daughter who was shot Saturday night said that the gun that killed her fired off accidentally while she was rummaging in her purse for her keys.

Authorities said that the teen's mother, DeAnn Radley, frantically called 911 around 10 p.m. Saturday. She is a native of Massachusetts and is based in Orlando, Florida.
