Temperature spike likely from Tuesday

The country may experience a noticeable rise in temperatures from Tuesday until the end of this week, the Department of Meteorology said Sunday. The temperatures will be 3 to 4 degrees higher than the usual average during the period, said the Met Department in a tweet. The maximum temperature in Doha is expected to reach 45C and the peak temperatures in the central and southern regions may go beyond that, the tweet added.
