Telangana imposes 10-day lockdown from May 12 amid Covid-19 surge

The Telangana government has announced a 10-day lockdown in the state from May 12. All activities, however, will be allowed from 6 am to 10 am.

As the second Covid wave continues to wreak havoc, the Telangana government has said the state will observe lockdown from Wednesday morning. The restrictions will come into force by 10 am on May 12 and the state will remain under lockdown for 10 days. Sources in the office of the chief minister told India Today that all activities will be allowed from 6 am to 10 am as Telangana goes under complete lockdown from May 12.
