Tecno Pova 5G launch set for February 8: All you need to know

Tecno has confirmed that their first 5G smartphone in India, Tecno Pova 5G will launch on February 8. It comes with a 6.95-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Tecno will be launching its first 5G smartphone called the Tecno Pova 5G in India on February 8. This is the company’s first 5G smartphone to launch in India.
On the company’s official account on Twitter, they revealed the Tecno Pova 5G would launch on February 8. There is no timing of the launch event on the tweet.
Tecno Pova 5G was launched in Nigeria with a price of NGN 129,000 (approx. about Rs. 23,000) for the sole 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The CEO of Transsion India, the parent company of Tecno India, hinted at the price of Tecno Pova 5G in late 2021. According to the executive, the smartphone will cost around 18,000-20,000 in the country.
Tecno Pova 5G in Nigeria comes with a 6.95-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels along with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC paired with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 built in storage.
Furthermore, Tecno is teasing that Pova 5G will be coming into the Indian market using a Memory Fusion technology that is designed to expand the capacity of its RAM to a maximum of 11GB
