Teacher found hanging from tree in Bihar's Samastipur, family alleges murder

A teacher's body was found hanging from a tree in Dalsinghsarai area in Samastipur, Bihar, on Tuesday.
A teacher's body was found hanging from a tree in the Dalsinghsarai area in Samastipur, Bihar, on Tuesday. Family members of the deceased alleged that someone killed him and hung his body from the tree.
The deceased was identified as Sandeep Kumar, a resident of Pad village in the Dalsinghsarai police station area.
On Tuesday night, when the teacher did not return home till late at night, the family members started looking for him. Despite searching the whole night, the teacher could not be traced. But the next morning, when the family again started searching for Sandeep, his body was found hanging from a tree behind the coaching.
The SHO Brajesh Kumar reached the spot and said that further action will be taken on the basis of the written complaint of the family.
The police sent the body for post-mortem and further investigation is underway.
The relatives and family members of the deceased have expressed doubts about Sandeep’s death and alleged that someone might have killed him and hung his body from the tree.
