TCS Shares Soar Over 3% On Buyback Announcement

Shares of Tata Consultancy Services on Monday jumped over 3 per cent after the company said its board will consider a buyback proposal on January 12.

Shares of Tata Consultancy Services on Monday jumped over 3 per cent after the company said its board will consider a buyback proposal on January 12.

The stock gained 3.24 per cent to Rs 3,979.90 on the BSE.

On the NSE, it jumped 3.23 per cent to Rs 3,978.

"...the board of directors will consider a proposal for buyback of equity shares of the company, at its meeting to be held on January 12, 2022," a regulatory filing said on Friday.
