Tanzania’s coronavirus-denying President being treated in Kenya for COVID-19, says opposition

Tanzania’s main opposition leader has demanded information on the health of President John Magufuli, a COVID-19 sceptic whose absence from public view in recent days brought speculation he was receiving medical treatment abroad.
There was no official statement on Mr. Magufuli’s health. His director of communications Gerson Msigwa and government spokesperson Hassan Abbas did not respond to Reuters messages left seeking comment.
