According the statement issued by Talabat, there was no hack, however what happened was a technical payment issue impacting only a small group of customers in Oman.

According the statement issued by Talabat, there was no hack, however what happened was a technical payment issue impacting only a small group of customers in Oman. “Keeping your information SECURE. We do not store card details on our platform and use highly secured 3rd party providers to process your payments,” the statement said. “We are laser focused on protecting the integrity of talabat accounts and continuously working to keep you safe and secure – both online and offline. We are in close collaboration with cyber-crime authorities and have started launching legal proceedings against those involved in spreading this fake news,” the statement added
