Taiwan 'will not escalate, but will not yield' to Chinese intimidation, foreign minister warns

Taiwan Foreign Minister Lin Chia-lung says the Trump administration shows "steadfast commitment" to Indo-Pacific security as Taiwan seeks to boost its defense spending.

These developments demonstrate that Beijing’s expansionist ambitions extend far beyond Taiwan and pose an increasingly serious threat to the security and stability of the Indo-Pacific region and the world."
