T20 World Cup: Defeat to India won't affect Afghanistan's momentum, preparation stays the same - Rashid Khan

T20 World Cup: Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan has said that they will stick to the same processes they have followed thus far despite their 66-run defeat to India. Rashid admitted that the result could make their next match against New Zealand a virtual quarter-final for them.

Afghanistan may have lost to India by 66 runs but the defeat does not change their preparation going into their final Super 12 match against New Zealand, spinner Rashid Khan has said. Afghanistan, who have played four games in the Super 12 stage, are sitting at the second spot, with four points and a net-run rate of +1.481.

Top-placed Pakistan have already qualified for the semi-finals from Group 2.
