Sudbury police continue to investigate Thursday after tracking a Lorne Street robbery suspect to a nearby residential building.
Police said in a Tweet at 10:37 a.m., officers were responding to a robbery in the city's Gatchell area and residents will see a heavy police presence.
"Officers have the person believed to be responsible in custody," police said in a Tweet shortly before 11 a.m. following a canine track.

Three police cruisers are parked on Lorne Street near the corner of Tuddenham as of 11:15 a.m., CTV News' Amanda Hicks said at the scene, and officers are investigating at a fourplex.
A neighbour told Hicks he heard police banging on the door at the back apartment.
"I got a text from a friend saying 'there’s police outside your house.' I go outside and I see police, about four cruisers, and I heard banging at the apartment behind," neighbour Dwayne Lemieux told CTV News in an interview.
