Union Minister Smriti Irani paid tribute to Surekha Sikri and shared a beautiful video of the veteran actress reciting a Hindi poem titled Chandni ki Paanch Partein on Instagram. Surekha Sikri died on July 16 in Mumbai after suffering a cardiac arrest. She was 75. Chandni ki Paanch Partein is a poem written by Hindi writer and poet Sarveshwar Dayal Saxena. The lyrics are mesmerising as Saxena writes, “Chandni ki paanch partein, har parat agyaat hai. Ek jal mein. Ek thal mein. Ek neelaakash mein.”
