In Puna village in Gujarat’s Surat district, the locals performed Garba with gas cylinders on their heads to protest against inflation in the country. Garba is a Gujarati folk dance that is performed during the ongoing nine-day Hindu festival of Navratri.
The women and men of Puna village performed Garba with gas cylinders on their heads while children carried petrol and diesel in bottles to register their protest against rising prices of necessities in India. Some women also performed the folk dance with kitchen utensils in their hands.
