Doha, Qatar: The Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center, operating under the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs, keeps its students summer forum in full swing.
There are 120 non-native Arabic speakers from middle and high school Muslim students participating in this forum.
The forum is part of the center's commitment to investing in leisure time of young people to gain significant religious and cultural benefits, in addition to enlarging their scope of knowledge, in terms of Islam's provisions and precepts.
It primarily aims to advance their expertise through leveraging an integrated program that educates them prayer, and the fundamental rules of ablution (wudu) and the Holy Qur'an recitation.
The forum has put out a calendar that includes field trips to a variety of key landmarks across the nation, namely the Imam Muhammad ibn Abd Al Wahhab Mosque, Museum of Islamic Art, the Pearl-Qatar, as well as other cultural and civilizational facilities.
