
Sudbury shooter still at large, police say

A fatal shooting took place inside a sports bar on Notre Dame Avenue Friday night in Greater Sudbury and police say the suspect is still at large.
A fatal shooting took place inside Overtime Sports Bar and Grill on Notre Dame Avenue in Greater Sudbury on Friday evening around 10:30 p.m., the Greater Sudbury Police Service said in a tweet.
According to police, the suspect is still at large.
“The shooter fled and has yet to be located,” said police.
Police said officers were dispatched in relation to a weapons complaint in a news release Saturday morning.
Police advised the public they were investigating the incident via Twitter just before 11:15 p.m. on Friday.
“A heavy police presence is in the area and a K9 track is underway,” said police.
“We are requesting that you remain out of the area while police conduct their investigation updates will follow.”
