The Greater Sudbury Police Service (GSPS) is searching for three people in connection to assaults that occurred earlier this month.
On Friday afternoon, police identified 30-year-old Chase Gour-Boyd as a suspect wanted in two separate assaults that occurred in Sudbury's downtown core in the early morning hours on Dec. 1.
About 1:25 a.m., officers were dispatched to Durham Street in response to a weapons complaint.
“Information provided was that an individual was seen beating another individual with a shovel outside of an establishment on Durham Street,” said GSPS in a news release.
“The individual believed to be responsible for the attack then went inside the establishment while the injured individual left the area on foot.”
Police did attend the establishment but said they were unable to positively identify the persons involved in the incident.
