The suspect was arrested May 11 and charged with two counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching involving someone under age 16 and making sexually explicit material available to someone under 16.
He attended Bail Court on May 12 and was remanded into custody. He will appear in court Tuesday.
Anyone with any information related to the case is to contact Det. Const. Rainville at 705-675-9171, ext. 2301.
Police have resources available for victims of sexual assault, including reporting options and resources for survivors.
Admitted serial killer Jeremy Skibicki’s defence lawyers have argued the accused had a history of schizophrenic delusions culminating in ‘catastrophic circumstances,’ while Crown prosecutors say the killings of four vulnerable Indigenous women were driven by Skibicki’s racist views and deviant sexual urges.
