The New York State Public Service Commission announced that several utility companies have proposed monthly delivery charge increases ranging from 34% to 48%, according to reports in multiple upstate news outlets. He joined Fox News in 2013 as a writer and production assistant.
Stefanik, a North Country congresswoman who is the first major candidate to challenge the incumbent, cited reports in upstate media that New Yorkers must again brace for approximately 40% hikes in utility costs in 2026 – an increase of $800-1,000 for most residents, she said.
